Density

Density is the amount of stuff in a fraction of an object. It measures how heavy or the size of an object is. It’s basically how many atoms crammed into space. To measure density you use the formula D=M/V (Density=Mass/Volume .The more atoms in an object equals the more density the object has. For an example if you look at the image above it says a beach  ball is not very dense as a bowling ball. The reason for that is the beach ball has more  atoms than the bowling ball causing it to float and causing the bowling ball to sink.

Another example is oil and water. If you had glass a of water and put oil in it.The oil would eventually float on the water since the atoms are more compact  than the waters atoms which gives it more density.

Tools to find Density
• Triple Beam Balance
To find the Mass of the object

Graduated cylinder
•  To find the Volume of the object

Calculator & paper
  •   to calculate the density.
  • write your data down

How to find Density?

1st Step: Find the mass of your object and record it
  • To find the weight of your object you have to weight it on a
   scale-or a triple beam balance
  • If using a triple beam
1.) balance the triple beam balance. Make sure the pointer is pointing at the line.
2.) Move the largest beam (the one all the way in the back) until it goes down. Then do the rest with the other 2 beams. starting with the tens and ending with ones.

2nd Step: Find the Volume and record it.
  • To Find the volume of your object you have to fill your  Graduated cylinder to a certain point/ measurement then drop your object inside and you will see the water increase and record it
  • subtract the level the water increased by the original amount it was at the beginning. Record the answer you got.

3rd Step: Divide the Mass by the volume to find the density
  • Use the formula Density=Mass/Volume

Example problem
A toy car has a Mass of 3grams and a volume of 0.9 Liters. What is the Density?

Density=Mass/Volume

                       3/0.9=3.33g/Ml

To get my answer I knew the formula for density so I looked to see how much grams and liters the toy car was. Then I divided the mass (3) by the volume (0.09) to get the quotient of 3.3333 but I rounded and got 3.33 as my final answer for the density.

My Hobby

hobby is an activity that you do in your spare time for fun. Different people have different hobbies and many hobbies. Some of my hobbies are doodling,Binge watching, Badminton, listening to music and cycling. My favorite hobby has to be  Binge watching.

The reason why I say that is after a long day of school or just going out. I like to relax and binge watch my favorite shows. Most of the times I binge watch on Netflix and some times I binge watch on Hulu. I usually don't get to binge watch too much on the weekday,so I mostly binge watch on the weekends since I usually don't have to much homework to do.

Another favorite hobby of mine is listening to music.

I like to listen to music when i do my homework and etc.Music usually helps me concentrate/focus when doing stuff. Also it helps calm me down. youtube video   https://youtu.be/nT3O93-nxDc
